A) Bust contour, B) Waist contour, C) Hip contour, D) Shot contour, is done from the shoulder through the crotch around the back to the shoulder again, E) long from the crotch to the ankle .
One tip, especially if you are going to take your own measurements, is to tie a tape measure at the waist to establish a reference guide line, it should not have much slack but it should not be tight either. Although the ideal is to have help to carry out the task and thus guarantee the correct data avoiding forced postures.
